Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Phenylephrine + Guaifenesin + Triprolidine is a combination of four medicines. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from chest congestion. Guaifenesin works by decreasing the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways.
